Mahalo for visiting my site, and your interest in getting to know me better. After visiting Kauai in the Summer of 2000, my daughter and I were new residents in less than 4 months! We simply fell in love with Kauai and believing life is too short to not follow your dreams, we took a leap of faith and moved!
Why Real Estate?
I've dreamed of being a Realtor for 20 years. However, as a single mother I found I needed to have a "regular" job to provide the security needed for my daughter. During that time, I gained some very valuable experience doing administrative, contract and paralegal work for various industries such as Technology, Investment Banking, BioTech and Estate Planning.
I've watched markets change, studied the success of others and am extremely motivated to help my clients achieve their dreams and goals. Real Estate is one of the best ways to develop and secure financial independence. My goal for my family's future generations, and for my clients and community is to pass on the information and support needed to create financial independence, retirement security and wealth.
Continuing Education & Credentials
Real Estate transactions are often the largest, and most important assets we have. My clients' trust in me is something I take very seriously. I continue to invest in technology and education in order to provide the best possible service, and to protect my clients. Having worked with many lawyers, I believe in doing everything I can to prevent any possible adverse impacts for my clients. I investigate zoning, planning and legal issues that may impact our transaction. This year I will be finishing my GRI and CRS designations, which are advanced real estate degrees.

The brokerage I chose to work with was a very important decision for me. I want to know I have the "best of the best" behind me to make sure my clients are protected with up-to-date information and support. Being on the cutting edge puts me at an advantage when it comes to finding a buyer for my sellers, or for inside scoops on properties that might be the perfect fit for my buyers.

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how I work.
That said, in my experience as a Kauai real estate professional, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been my approach and it requires me to continually improve my skills and ways of doing business. In addition, I've found that the latest technologies are enabling me to do everything I've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped me to extend the range of services I provide to my clients.
